Fishing Report     10/15

The shallow stuff is still the ticket fishing in the back lakes is really turning on fire as it should as water temperature drops. Took the little man for some Red fish action throwing some good ole cut bait on the bottom. the fish didn't seem to mind as the action was pretty steady.

Fishing Reports   10/15

The fish are holding the same patterns and tides remain very high, I'm sure as cool fonts roll in the tides will drop and the fish will move. went out and fished in the rain the other day a managed to pick up some good fish in a short amount of time. We are still seeing good results throwing swim baits the darker colors seem to be working the best.

Double R's

Fishing Report  10/15

Tides are high and the weather is cool in the morning quickly warming, fish are scattered in most areas. but they can be found in the shallows and the grass. We have been able to find limits of reds and some trout fishing this way throwing small light colored top waters and swim baits.

July was an awesome month of fishing we were able to catch many ideal days with weather conditions the Trout bite has been great in two to three feet of water free lining croaker over sand and grass. I don't expect much to change for August.

April Report 4/16

April fishing has been awesome to say the least, I've been finding good fish in about three feet of water over mud and shell. Still throwing the good ole popping cork rigged with a gulp.

Fishing Report    11/15

The weather is finally cooling down and tides remain high, but I'm sure that they will be dropping soon. went out for a quick trip Sunday morning threw a variety of swim baits with no luck switched over to a good ole popping cork with a Berkley gulp and the fish started biting drifting over three to four feet of water. We left them biting had to get home I had already missed church.

Fishing Report 11/15

Ran out on Black Friday for a trip that turned into a quick one caught a two man limit of trout before 10am. Tried to move around to find more redfish but the trout bite wouldn't stop so we called it good. We were fishing in about 4 feet of water throwing paddle tail swim baits (dark color's), kind of slow letting it sink to the bottom. the trout were barley picking it up just giving a slight thump.

Fishing Report 2/16

February blew by we finally had some super low tides, but the bite remained good still working the popping cork and sand eels. most of the fish have been in a little deeper water 4 to 5 feet near shallow water and guts.

June/ 16

June has been fantastic fishing, it's starting to get hot of course. We have been fishing out if the boat free lining croaker with good success working them over sand and grass pockets in about three feet of water.

August 16

August contained many great days of fishing with patterns holding, many fish being found in two to three feet of water over scattered shell and on sand flats near grass still catching them from the boat on live bait. But towards the end of the month the rain set in and we saw some cooler days this marks  fall is coming and some great cool weather fishing is coming.

Fishing Report 12/15

December held a lot of good days of fishing, we had some strong South winds fallowed by North winds and a few cold spells. We fished Christmas eve in shorts and flip flops but it was still good, trout and reds remain in fairly shallow water making action packed days of sight casting for reds throwing swim baits in about two feet of water and throwing popping corks and swim baits in three to four of water for trout, as we roll into 2016 I hope everyone the best of luck in 2016 and tight lines

Enjoy Wade or Drift Fishing in the shallow waters of Port O'Connor and San Antonio Bay with your choice of artificial, live, or cut bait.

Fished today with a strong South wind. Things started very slow with only a few small fish and weak bite, but the little bit of sun we had warmed things up for us, the bite picked up and started producing some nice trout throwing sand eels was the ticket just bouncing them of the bottom and working them trough the water colum. Most of the fish were in about four feet of water.

May has been a great month for fishing again lots of great trout have been caught. Still fishing in that 3 to 4 feet of water throwing artificial at them, sand ells and popping corks have been the ticket. We continue to have a lot of great cool morning and rain. June will start to hold some great days of wade fishing shore lines and reefs holding amazing fish.
